    Steering Group meeting:
  • Adoption of project plan
  • Agree key roles and responsibilities
  • Review briefing documents
  • Prepare and agree action plan for workshop on the 15/16th March
  • The external evaluation of project was discussed and for decision prepared
  • Website development discussed

 

January/February Website

  • Three webdevelop organisations were invited to make an offer. Several meetings and discussions
  • Final choice made and organise input for the content of the Website
  • Preparation of the SG and Workshop
  • Development of Questionnaires for Players’ Unions and Questionnaire for Players
  • Discussed and prepared Questionnaire for reviewing the education systems in partner countries

 

15th February – Meeting with Project Evaluator – London

    Review initial evaluation proposal prior to the first workshop. Specific objectives for evaluation agreed as;
  • Needs analysis among professional footballers across 11 EU member states
  • Analysis of the educational systems across 11 EU member states to identify opportunities for future transnational work
  • Identify beneficiaries – numbers!
  • FIFPro website as an information resource for project partners
  • Project Management
  • Dissemination
  • Monitoring and evaluation
Review data source against aims and objectives to include risk potential and future sustainable work following the completion of the project.
